This
ARMOR OF GOD jewelry was born out of a cry to God as sickness and one crisis
after another hit our family and friends. I asked God to
help me remember to put on the full armor of God each day, so
that I would not be caught spiritually vulnerable to attacks of
Satan.
In
response, a picture of the pieces of the armor hanging from a
chain flashed through my mind. The answer was exciting;
I knew I was responsible for bringing this vision into reality
and making it available to other Christians. This idea was
quickly confirmed by the entire family.
We
searched for authentic pictures of armor and styles that people
would quickly recognize. We settled on designs appropriate
for a Roman field officer, and our son, Jeff, made detailed sketches.
Jerry
Stinn, a master designer/craftsman, translated the sketches into
beautiful 3-D wax figures, from which he made the molds to create
the originals. He artistically hand-crafted each piece
of armor to show the details, such as the individual straps of
leather weighted with metal on the apron; the imposing muscles
and epaulets on the breastplate; the hobnails on the leather sandals;
the visor and cheek plates on the helmet. We continue to
work with fine craftsmen to produce our quality hand-finished
ARMOR OF GOD jewelry.
It
is with great joy, and a sense of awe for the greatness of God,
that we make this hand-crafted replica of the ARMOR OF GOD
